About Us

Started in 2013, Misfits are a brand new team on the softball circuit. Nigel, the coach, has been playing for a number of years, and the team boasts a few experienced players. We have a number of new players this year, and are looking to expand our numbers and get more people involved in this fun and social sport.

We have performed very well this season and played at a very high standard in both the East Midlands league and in the three tournaments that we attended around the country.

Softball is a social sport, much like baseball, it allows people the chance to not only get fit, but to make friends and to enjoy the sport.

Comepetitive Sport

Softball is starting to grow in popularity in the UK, and as such, there are a number of leagues that are currently in play. The Misfits play in The East Midlands league, but attend a number of tournaments each year, where teams from all over the country compete for trophies, and to socialise with each other.

Socials

These days, it's hard to keep fit and have fun. Softball with The Misfits combines these, not only with a fun time on the pitch, but with socials outside of the game for us to have a laugh and enjoy each other's company.
